Ember (HeyEmber.ai) is operated by LittleRedCode Pte Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Singapore. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI-powered relationship conversation platform.

Account Information: Email address, display name, and profile photo (via Google sign-in).

Profile Information: Information you choose to provide such as date of birth, country, relationship details, and personal context.

Conversations: Messages you send to Ember and AI-generated responses.

Technical Data: Device information, IP address, and usage data for security and service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the service, maintain your account, ensure safety, and communicate with you about the service. Your messages are processed by third-party AI services (Anthropic, OpenAI, and Groq) to generate responses.

4. Privacy Between Partners

This is fundamental to how Ember works:

Your conversations are private. Your partner cannot see what you share with Ember.
Ember uses context from both partners to provide balanced guidance, but never reveals what one partner said to the other.
We will never disclose your messages to your partner under any circumstances.

5. Data Protection and Retention

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data while your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@heyember.ai.

7. Message Privacy

Your conversations with Ember are private and encrypted. Our team does not read your messages. The only exception is if our automated safety system detects a potential crisis—in that case, a trained team member may review the conversation to ensure you receive appropriate support.

In the future, you may have the option to voluntarily share your data for research purposes in exchange for benefits like subscription discounts. This will always be opt-in and clearly disclosed.

8. Children's Privacy

Ember is not intended for users under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or notice in the Service.
